Associate Clinical Social Worker
Sanathkumar Putla is an Associate Clinical Social Worker who works with adolescents and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, emotional dysregulation, relationship challenges, and personality-related concerns, including Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Sanath earned his Master of Social Work degree with a specialization in Correctional Social Work and has experience in medical social work, community mental health, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling. His therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and relational, integrating evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, DBT, CBT, strengths-based therapy, and person-centered interventions. Known for his warm and empathetic presence, Sanath believes that healing begins when people feel genuinely heard and understood. He strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences, build on their strengths, and move toward meaningful and lasting change. He is committed to walking alongside clients throughout their therapeutic journey, offering support, encouragement, and practical tools for growth
and healing. Having lived and worked in both the United States and India, Sanath is particularly attuned to the cultural values, family dynamics, and unique challenges experienced within Asian and multicultural communities. He provides therapy services in English, Hindi, Telugu, and Marathi and welcomes clients from diverse cultural, ethnic, and spiritual backgrounds.
